Includes international flights from a choice of UK airports, including London, Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle, Edinburgh and Glasgow.

  • Today you begin your journey by boarding your international outbound flight to Ho Chi Minh City.

  • Upon arrival in Ho Chi Minh City, an Audley representative will greet you and transfer you to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at your leisure to explore or relax.

  • A full day today to explore Ho Chi Minh City with your driver and guide. You will visit some of the city's main sights, including the war remnants museum, before heading out to discover the Cu Chi Tunnels, the infamous hideout of the Viet Cong during the war.

  • Transfer to the riverside in central Saigon and embark on your eight-day journey along the Mekong.

  • Cruise through the Mekong Delta this morning, stopping off to journey by sampan through the mangroves and bamboo forests at Ben Tre.

  • This morning you will take a minivan for a short drive to Sam Mountain, the location of the Hang Pagoda. Today you will also journey across the border into Cambodia.

  • Cruise along the river to Phnom Penh today. You have the chance to explore this frenetic city by cyclo and learn more about its history. Visit the National Museum, Tuol Sleng Museum, the Killing Fields and more.

  • Continue cruising today, passing Kampong Tralach. Disembark here to explore riverside villages, markets and temples to get a sense of life in rural Cambodia.

  • Visit the ancient capital of Cambodia, Oudong, this morning. Later visit a small and remote village on the banks of the Mekong.

  • Start your day with a refreshing session of t'ai chi before the cruise continues to Peam Chi Korng. This hidden treasure, renowned for its pottery, offers an authentic glimpse into Cambodia’s rich artisanal heritage.

  • Arrive in Siem Reap and say goodbye to your boat today. Your driver and guide will meet you at the disembarkation point and transfer you to your hotel.

  • Rise early this morning and travel to the magical temple of Angkor Wat in time for sunrise. Explore this incredible site in the early morning light before enjoying a hearty breakfast at Sala Kdei, set in a beautiful location overlooking the royal bathing pond. Later, travel out to the floating village of Kompong Khleang, a fascinating trip which offers a chance to see life unfold on the great Tonle Sap Lake.

  • Today you will explore Angkor's lesser-known temples, including the jungle temple Ta Prohm. You navigate the area by bicycle, taking quiet roads and hidden jungle pathways.

  • You leave Cambodia today and transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
