Tay Village Homestay

The scenic Tay Minority village on the outskirts of Ha Giang Town is the perfect location for enjoying some traditional hospitality. Although amenities are fairly basic, you will be provided with clean and comfortable bedding, mosquito nets and a shared washroom facility. Your bed for the night will be a traditional style, thin, foam mattress on the floor, partitioned off by a curtain for privacy. The host family take a pride in providing the best local cuisine and you will likely be invited to eat with the family. This is a great way to learn a little more about the customs and traditions of one of Ha Giang's minority tribes in their own environment.

Please note that as homestay options are limited in this remote region, there may occasionally be other guests (including your guide and driver) also staying at the family home. From experience, this only adds to the communal feel and overall experience. That said if you would prefer not to share the experience with another group, please do let your specialist know.
