Tanque Verde Ranch

Set in 640 acres in the foothills of the Rincon Mountains east of Tucson, this all-inclusive dude ranch is ideal for adventurous horseback adventures and for those looking to sample the great outdoors on foot, mountain bike, or just learn about the desert mountain environment at the Nature Centre.

The ranch also has indoor and outdoor heated swimming pools, exercise rooms and saunas plus five tennis courts. Your stay here includes all meals and scheduled activities, such as horse riding and guided nature hikes, plus free use of the tennis courts and entrance to the spa facilities, although spa treatments are charged separately.

Standard rooms are warm and friendly with clean furnishings. Moderate rooms are larger and have fireplaces, and Deluxe rooms have walk-in closets, king size beds and shared patios. There are also Family Suites which are perfect for families with active children who want to enjoy the numerous organised children's activities.

The main dining room features dishes created by the award-winning resident chef and this is also where breakfasts are served, but the most popular meals are often the cowboy themed barbecues, which include Wild West entertainment and Mexican Fiesta night.
