Rooms

Rooms at the Old Faithful Snow Lodge are simple and unpretentious, but nevertheless clean and comfortable. Premium Lodge rooms in the main lodge building feature either one king bed or two queen beds and are decorated in a rustic Western style. Amenities in the rooms include en suite bathrooms, telephones, coffee makers, fridges and hair dryers. There are also accessible versions of these rooms available on the ground floor, featuring roll-in showers and specially-adapted toilets and sinks.

Accommodation can also be found in two types of cabins — the simple Frontier Cabins and the more modern Western Cabins, which are more spacious and offer guests a higher level of comfort. Western Cabins have two queen size beds and a full en suite bathroom, with Accessible Western Cabins also available, featuring a ramp at the entrance and an accessible bath and toilet.

Location

Although located in one of the more developed areas of Yellowstone, the lodge is ideally situated next to the world-famous Old Faithful geyser. The two-minute journey time to this geological wonder means that guests can arrive ahead of the crowds, before heading out to explore the rest of Yellowstone.

Food and drink

The hotel has an on site restaurant, the Obsidian Dining Room, which is open throughout the year serving à la carte breakfast and dinner. There's also the more relaxed Geyser Grill, serving lunch and dinner daily. The Firehole Lounge is a great place to relax after a day of sightseeing, with cosy chairs set beside an open fire.

Facilities and activities

Internet access can be purchased for use in the lodge's rooms and communal spaces. Laundry facilities can be found on site, and parking space is available.

Accessibility

The lodge offers ADA compliant rooms and cabins for guests with limited mobility.
