Four Seasons Resort, Vail

This contemporary luxury hotel sits at the foot of Vail Mountain, minutes from the village hub of Vail, its peaked roofs drawing their inspiration from the Gore Range. Opened in late 2010, the hotel caters as much for winter skiers as it does for summer hikers and as one would expect from a Four Seasons property, this resort offers comfort and refinement in equal measure.

As well as a ski concierge, the Four Seasons features a year-round heated courtyard swimming pool, fitness centre, spa, business centre and a multitude of child-friendly activities.

Guests can relax over drinks and tapas in the Fireside Lounge or alternatively by the Pool Bar and Sugar Shack, whilst Flame restaurant with its vaulted beamed ceilings and soaring archways serves seasonal, slow-cooked mountain fare.

The 121 rooms, suites and private residences boast gas-burning fireplaces, balconies and European-style décor with mountain accents and modern amenities.
