Itinerary idea in detail

  • On arrival at Denpasar Airport, your guide will meet you for the short transfer to beautiful Jimbaran Bay. Settle into your hotel for the first four nights.

  • Enjoy a day at leisure in Jimbaran. At sunset, you might like to wander along the bay, when restaurants set up along the beach to serve cold Bintang beers and fresh seafood dishes from the day's catch.

  • Relax today at your hotel or explore the local area. This afternoon, your guide and driver will collect you to drive south through the Bukit Peninsula to the stunning cliff temple of Uluwatu. Watch the sunset over the Southern Ocean, meet the local monkeys that roam around the site, and experience a traditional Kecak dance performance at the temple. You will return to Jimbaran this evening.

  • Today, you have the day free to enjoy the facilities at your hotel. Relax by the powder-soft beach, take a massage at the well-reputed spa, or dip into the hotel's infinity pool.

  • After a leisurely breakfast, you will be collected for the journey to Ubud, which will take around 90 minutes, depending on traffic. You will arrive at the Chedi Club this afternoon and have time to relax this evening. Why not enjoy a special dinner in the restaurant overlooking the lush paddy fields this evening.

  • Today is at leisure to explore central Ubud, including the sacred Monkey Forest and local craft stalls and shops.

  • Experience traditional village life and culture around the Ubud area today, as your guide shows you the farming techniques and homesteads that have supported the local Balinese people for many years.

  • Enjoy a leisurely morning at your hotel, joining an early yoga class or relaxing around the pool. This afternoon, you will join a local chef in their own home to learn about traditional Indonesian cuisine and how to create some of the most famous dishes in the region. You will enjoy your dinner before returning to your hotel this evening.

  • Leave Ubud this morning with your guide to drive to the coast of eastern Bali, where you will meet the public speedboat across to Lombok. The crossing takes around two hours on a calm day, and you will be met on arrival on Lombok. The drive to your next hotel is around 20 minutes, so you can settle in this afternoon for the next four nights.

  • This morning, you can use Tugu's private dragon boat to cruise around the nearby Gili Islands, which have beautiful beaches and fantastic sea life. Return to the Tugu this afternoon to relax at the unique pool and on the pristine beach.

  • Today, your guide will show you around the island of Lombok in a private jeep, visiting some of the highlights, which include views of Mount Rinjani (an active volcano), local waterfalls and village life. Return to your hotel this evening — you might like to book a spa treatment after your busy day exploring.

  • Day at leisure at the Tugu.

  • You will be collected from the Tugu today and driven south to Lombok Airport, which is approximately two hours away, in time for your flight home.
