Shwe Inn Tha Floating Resort

The Shwe Inn Tha is located in the southern part of the lake, not far from the famous Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda. Each of the 40 stand-alone cottages (two of which are suites) feature simple decor but large, panoramic windows and private balcony, perfect for watching the variety of amphibious activity on the lake.

Built in a traditional style with an environmental awareness, the resort has a large reception area and dining hall that features teak wood furnishings and lofty wooden ceilings. The restaurant offers a range of Pa-O and Intha dishes using fresh produce from the neighbouring floating gardens. There is also a small filtered and chlorinated swimming pool, the first available at Inle Lake.
