Haveli Dharampura

Delhi, India

A UNESCO-awarded heritage property, Haveli Dharampura is an architectural masterpiece that stands tall amidst the bustling streets of Old Delhi. Originally constructed in 1887 it lay abandoned in a deteriorating condition. It was a massive challenge for the current custodians who decided to sympathetically restore it to its original glory.

As you step through its magnificent doors you are instantly transported back into a world of timeless elegance and regal charm, and every corner of the Haveli tells a story. The courtyard serves as a tranquil sanctuary where you can unwind, sip on a cup of aromatic chai and immerse yourself in the captivating ambiance. The rooms and suites are tastefully designed, blending traditional aesthetics with modern comforts. From the charming balconies you can enjoy breathtaking views of the bustling lanes of Chandni Chowk, allowing you to witness the vibrant tapestry of Old Delhi come to life.

Indulge in the culinary delights that await you at Lakhori, the in-house restaurant, serving a delectable fusion of traditional Indian and Mughlai cuisine, each dish is a masterpiece, meticulously crafted to tantalise your taste buds. It's almost like staying in a museum.

OUR OPINION:

We love Haveli Dharampura because from the moment you are dropped off, you're instantly transported to the narrow bustling streets of Old Delhi. The rooms are filled with character and the evening rooftop kite flying is a spectacle not to be missed.
