Nestled between the cobalt-blue waters of Lake Titisee and the thick trees of the Black Forest, Treschers Schwarzwaldhotel am See offers everything you need in one spot — easy access to water sports, a relaxing sauna, a private beach and close proximity to the shops and cafés along the main street.
The hotel has been run by the Trescher family since 1911, and each generation has expanded and improved. The building evokes a ski chalet, with dark wood façade and green shuttered windows. A heated pool sits on the shore of the lake, providing a warm place to swim even when Lake Titisee freezes over.
Enjoy cocktails and dessert on the outdoor terrace that looks out over the lake. For dinner, you can head into the traditional dining room, decorated with lots of pine and warm tones.
OUR OPINION:
We love this family-owned hotel for its peerless location in Titisee. We find this spot is particularly great for relaxation, as the town is very quiet in the evenings and the hotel has plenty of amenities.
