Long a haunt of celebrities and musicians, politicians and the global elite, the Four Seasons Hotel George V exudes a grandeur and finesse worthy of its royal namesake. The decor seamlessly blends refined elegance with contemporary style, mixing crystal chandeliers and antique furniture with contemporary art and monumental floral displays.
The regal guest rooms are classically elegant in either a traditional French style or a chic, modern design and feature rich fabrics, original artwork and views, for some, of the Eiffel Tower.
Dining at the hotel is a highlight, with a choice of restaurants offering Michelin-starred, classic French fare, Mediterranean-style gourmet dishes and contemporary French gastronomy. There's also a tranquil spa and a well-equipped fitness room.
The George V is an institution, and we can see why. It's both grand and historic, boasting impeccable service and a classic, sophisticated style without being dated.

Rooms
Soft down pillows and crisp linens set the standard for a truly peaceful and relaxing night’s sleep. The meticulous interior design with its hand-picked paintings, fabrics and antique furniture is evocative of a bygone era of decadence while never compromising on modern luxuries. Several rooms feature private terraces or balconies with views ranging from the courtyard or garden to Avenue George V, or, for a lucky few, the Eiffel Tower. All rooms feature an interactive TV, complimentary Wi-Fi, a coffee machine and minibar, as well as offering a bath, shower or both.
Location
The hotel has a convenient location in the heart of Paris’s 8th arrondissement, just steps away from the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs-Élysées. It's just over a 20-minute walk from the Eiffel Tower and within easy access of many of the city's other historic monuments, with several metro stations close by. Depending on traffic, which is notoriously bad in Paris, you can also reach the Gare du Nord, Paris’s northern train station, in around half an hour.
Food and drink
The hotel offers four dining options. Fine dining is available at Le Cinq, a Michelin-starred restaurant focusing on classic French cuisine. For something a bit more contemporary, the light-filled L’Orangerie serves a menu of innovative dishes, while Le George serves Mediterranean fare with dishes designed for sharing. For lighter lunches, dinners and cocktails, La Galerie with its Flemish tapestries, 19th-century paintings and live pianist, is a grand but relaxed retreat.
Families
The Four Seasons Hotel George V is very welcoming toward families, providing special children’s menus, bath supplies, and even mini bathrobes. The hotel will also be happy to arrange babysitting with advance notice.
Facilities and activities
The spa by Jeff Leatham provides beautifully designed facilities including four bright, contemporary treatment rooms, a nail and hair salon and a large fitness room featuring the latest equipment. Professional therapists and beauticians provide a range of body and facial treatments, as well as hair and nail services.
