Incas uncovered: Cuzco, Sacred Valley & Machu Picchu

This morning, you will return to the airport for your flight to Cuzco. Upon arrival in Cuzco, you will be met at the airport and driven to your hotel via private transfer. The rest of the day and evening will be yours to enjoy at your leisure as you acclimatize to the high altitude.

Enjoy a guided tour of the highlights of Cuzco and nearby Inca ruins.

Make your way through the Sacred Valley with visits to Písac, one of the most vibrant markets in Peru, as well as the agricultural terraces of Moray and salt pans at Maras.

Explore the Sacred Valley further with a day of mountain biking, white-water rafting (seasonal), hiking, or other adventures.

Start today by taking the one-and-a-half-hour train journey to Machu Picchu with your guide. The journey traces the edge of the Urubamba River as it twists through the increasingly steep-sided valley. You’ll spot a series of Incan sites from your seat before arriving at Aguas Calientes. After disembarking from the train, you will take a short bus journey to Machu Picchu for your privately guided tour of the Inca citadel.

In the morning, return to Machu Picchu on your own before returning to Cuzco. On your final night in Cuzco, wander the colonial streets and enjoy a meal in one of the city's excellent restaurants.
