Itinerary idea in detail

Includes international flights from a choice of UK airports, including London, Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle, Edinburgh and Glasgow.

  • Today you begin your journey by boarding your international outbound flight to Darwin.

  • Welcome to Australia. You will be picked up by a private driver on arrival at the airport and transferred to your Darwin accommodation. Today is a day of leisure after your international flights. Take some time by the pool or explore downtown Darwin on your own.

  • Today you'll take to the air with an aerial tour of the National Park and of Arnhem and waterfalls before taking a cruise on the Yellow Water Billabong, which is filled with flora and wildlife, like the saltwater crocodiles the area is known for. Visit the Warradjan Aboriginal Cultural Centre, the traditional owners of Kakadu National Park, before flying back to Darwin.

  • Fly from Darwin to Alice Springs where you'll pick up your car hire and make your way through the Outback to Uluru while taking in the ancient landscapes. Upon arriving in Uluru, enjoy some Australian wines, light canapés and twilight cultural storytelling of the Mala story atop a dune overlooking Uluru and Kata Tjuta.

  • Beat the heat of the day and watch the sunrise as different colours of the landscape take shape on a Kata Tujta Sunrise hiking tour. Spend your afternoon cooling off at your resort's pool before having dinner with 360-degree views of the Outback's iconic rock formations — Uluru and Kata Tjuta. As the colours of the landscapes change again, watch the skies as the stars sparkle over you.

  • Start your morning with a hike of Uluru before driving to Kings Canyon. After checking into your accommodations, get ready for a six-course meal with an intimate setting under the moon with the flickering glow of a fire and the sounds of the Outback.

  • Wake for a self-guided Kings Canyon Rim Walk or Kings Canyon Creek Walk through red rock scenery before continuing your journey back to Alice Springs.

  • Today you will head to Perth, but first, start your morning with a sunrise hot air balloon ride over the Outback. Check in to your Perth accommodations before taking in the sites of the seaside city.

  • Take the ferry to nearby Rottnest Island, which is great to explore by coach or by bicycle. Make sure to stop and say hi to a few of the friendly locals, the quokkas.

  • Pick up your car hire and take a leisurely drive to Albany, located on the southern tip of Western Australia. Explore the coastal town or take in some of the beautiful sea views before checking into your hotel.

  • Today is a day of leisure, although you may want to take in the sights of the Porongurup National Park, known for its gigantic karri trees and ancient granite rocks.

  • From Albany, you'll drive to the Margaret River Region to your next stop by way of Pemberton. Climb the world's tallest fire lookout tree — the famous Gloucester Tree. Once in Margaret River, enjoy a relaxing night with a glass of one of the many local wines.

  • Today you will be picked up for a private guided tour discovering the Margaret River Region. Explore hidden spots in the region and enjoy some of the best wineries.

  • Enjoy relaxing at your hotel or head out for a drive before embarking on a journey to the heart of Ngilgi Cave and connecting with the Wadandi culture. Through storytelling learn of the rich history and tradition of the Wadandi people. Listen to didgeridoo melodies and watch a traditional fire lighting ceremony.

  • Drive back to Perth for your last day in the country. You may choose to stop by Fremantle for some convict history or soak up the sun by the beach before returning your car in Perth.

  • A private transfer will pick you up at your hotel for your onward flight home.

  • Arrive home today to complete your journey.
